Hey everybody! I have something a bit different to share with you today. I mentioned in a previous post that I play Dungeons and Dragons with my friends. Well, sometime within the next few months, I will be trying my hand at running a game instead of just playing. I have been building my own world and with that, I have decided to draw maps of the continent that the story takes place on.
I HAVE NEVER MADE A MAP BEFORE... I have been working on it the past few days and, so far I am fairly proud of how it is turning out. All I really have done are big chunks of land but I will eventually have towns, roads, rivers, ect. This whole experience has been quite enjoyable and I feel like I am learning something new. The pictures I am posting are of the work I have completed so far as well as the original reference photo that I used for the shape of the continent. I hope you enjoy and feel free to let me know what you think! :) **NOTE** I DO NOT OWN THE RIGHTS TO THE ORIGINAL MAP IMAGE USED AS REFERENCE. I DO NOT KNOW WHO TO CREDIT AS I FOUND THE IMAGE ON GOOGLE BUT IT IS NOT MY IMAGE AND I AM NOT CLAIMING IT AS MY IMAGE.

Good Evening everyone. Thank you so much for those who have continue to come check out my blog and my website. Sadly, I missed posting for the first time yesterday. Oh well, I am not going to let that discourage me! Today I just wanted to share the line work for a cute little Goth girl I have been working on. Granted, the work has been on-and-off for a while, but I just can't seem to get the colors right for her personality. She will get there eventually.
I like to work in this illustration style when I am feeling overwhelmed by other things. These little chubby girls are just too cute for me not to smile while working on them. Anyway, Have a great night and enjoy! Happy Monday everybody! I hope you are all staying safe and healthy.
I am so excited that things are starting to open again. I haven't really gone out too much since the openings started, but it sure is nice to see the world working its way back to normal again. I really didn't have a game plan for today's post so I guess I just will share some process work from the illustration that I am currently working on. I won't tell you the story yet though. I will save that for when I finish ;). Also, I just wanted to let y'all know that I made a small change to the site. My resume (located at the bottom of the 'About the Artist' page) has been completely updated. So feel free to go take a look if you want! Y'all have a great night. Thank you so much for your love and support! |
